I have a camel trophy watch.
Made in honour of the camel trophy rally, Developed on this rally it is a real icon of adventure watches.
Screw down crown water resistant to 10atm
Sapphire crystal and high quality quartz movement with low power indicator.
Leather or stainless steel band dependent on which model.
This one was given to me by my father and worn quite alot but has been left for almost two years unworn.

Very rare to see another one infact i never have.
worth as you say around the £400-£500 mark

£400-£500 happy days
I brought a Camel Trophy watch duty free in Sri lanka about 7 years ago.
It's been really good never missed a tick.
Mine is silver with a silver strap black face with a red band running round the face.
I'll try and get a pic

I have always fancied one, but would I be correct in thinking that they dont make them any more?

Valued at £500(ish), eek I saw one go on e-bay a while back for £115, my highest bid was £100.
I've seen them go for the same sort of money too, quite often. Absolutely gobsmacked it's been valued at £500 eek

Bought my Camel Trophy 'Chronograph' model for £400 back in Sept '90. Been a great watch, though the alarm and stopwatch no longer work. Funnily enough, just came across the old style large metal presentation box and a brand new replacement brown leather strap for it the other day. Still got the catalogue and the original 'Camel' sticker that came with it.
