Was abroad recently and stumbled accross a jewelers that had one of these BRM watches in the window.

Had seen a picture of them in the past but never found anywhere that sold them until the other week but alas, they were closed. I really quite fancied one also till i saw one in the flesh - the thing was almost as big as the mobile phone tha i had in my hand yikes

Does anyone know somewhere that sells them in the London area and also if they do them in a smaller size?

Each to their own I suppose, but it looks like something that has been knocked up from spare bits and pieces in the back shed!

BRM watch. Built by:

Richard Mille: www.richardmille.com

London dealer: www.marcuswatches.co.uk

Various models and sizes. The RM webbisite is delightfully pretentious.

Price: Turbillon hand made watches from a new, very desirable, very avantgarde maker on the horology block.

I dare you to telephone Marcus Watches and to post the price. Must admit I am quite intrigued but suspect there will be little change from 10k.

Probably best to look for a decent Hong Kong interpretation. wink

If you're after a Richard Mille especially the headline Tourbillon pieces you will find yourself into six figures (£ sterling)....Next time you're in Bond St pop into Marcus and have a look, they are breath taking watches.
As for the BRM's.....No thanks.

Just realised that I have been talking total tosh. Not Richard Mille at all. Was thinking of his RM brand. Below is the BRM link. French maker, reasonably standard Valjoux movement, cost should be a fraction of RM.

Link: www.brm-manufacture.com

Anyway, time to meet up with Morpheous. Night, night.

Right, back in the land of the living. I think?

BRM watches. Must admit that I can only find one source in the UK.

www.studio-g.co.uk-watches_brm_range.pdf

Still in the "ouch" price range unfortunately. Starting at £2000 and rapidly spiralling into £10k territory.

Blowers have just sold a V6 model for £1250 though. Might be an idea to to fill out a Swiss Watch Co form. www.watches.co.uk

There are also Chinese "versions" available. Google, as always, is your friend. wink

Either that or its down the Dilly. My problem too, Rolls Royce taste and Cortina money to satisfy it.

Right, down to the lottery shop.
