In 1967 I bought this watch. It's the only Rotary chrono I've ever seen. I do not know the model number. The case has a reference number which is 624105. The case is stainless steel, square but with shaped, rounded sides (hope you follow that!). The face is round and black, with two subsidiary dials. One of these is a seconds indicator, the other is a 45 minute counter with a red countdown at 10 minutes and a blue countdown at 5 minutes and I assume it is designed as an aid to time the start of sailing races. It has a black leather strap, not original.

I've had the watch serviced occasionally.

Recently the winder has become slack and I noticed it started to gain several minues a day so I took it to a sole trader jewellery shop to get it repaired. They have told me they sent it away and it has been returned unserviced: the main spring needs replacing but the parts can no longer be obtained. Although I have not been wearing this watch often, I'd really like to get it repaied, if only because of sentimentality. Does anyone have any ideas as to where I could get this done? If it means sending it away, that's OK with me.

Thanks, R.
