Been offered one today at list. Does anyone know what the wait list is (if anything)- gotta have a tot up of funds available, and whether it's worthwhile updating my current GMT..

IMO - a big improvement - felt heavier, and the bezel and new links looked gorgeous.

Saw both SS and Bi-metal in a dealer in Edinburgh today. Is there a waiting list?

SS looked like a nice watch. It seems a it bigger than the original GMT II, certainly around the lugs anyway. I didn't like it a first but it looks much better in the flesh.

Is it only going to be available with the black bezel? I wonder if the submariner will get the same treatment.

I think they are only doing the black bezel. Which is a shame. I have the GMT II with black / red bezel, and have had so many positive comments on the contrast. The blue / red I have never been fond of however...

Rumours of up to 2 years (!?!?) and the odd one on e-bay.co.uk and e-bay.com for around the £3800 mark. List has gone up (a lot) to £3470.
