Hi,

About 5 weeks ago I handed a watch back to the shop for repair, it was purchased in december last year so less than year old. It's been away for 5 weeks now and I still haven't heard anything back frown I asked in the shop for a temporary replacement while it was being repair on the grounds of it being so new and was told the dont stock second hand watches.

Does anyone get temporary replacements for watches that are being repaired under warranty? Or is it daft to even ask?

Got offered the obligatory manky Swatch when my Breitling went for a service... but politely declined.

Thankfully a good mate of mine (and a fellow PHer) has helped me out and lent me one of his. smile

I got a very nice Tissot when my Breitling went in once - but 2 other times got nothing.

I took my TAG into a dealer on 4th April to get bezel spring replaced....still waiting for its return.
I've bought an explorer 2 while waiting for it for it to come back.

Prestons Of Bolton always used to provide me with an Omega when mine went in for s service or battery. The shop has changed hands recently, so I'm not sure they will keep up the service??

I've been told the watch is in quality control and if it is fine, will be posted out by the end of the week.

Don't know if i trust them sending a watch in the post!
