Went to my local high steet watch shop today to try on a Tag Carrera to see me throught until I
can afford the Breitling I want, Had no idea I would buy anything,

In the window was a Tag Carrera Twin Time Automatic Window price £ 1450 sale price £ 850.00, needless to say £ 850.00 lighter and a new watch

£ 600.00 off list from a main dealers in July is what I call a bargin ! It was not the model I wanted but still a nice simple goodlooking watch.

The price I got here (Dubai) was instantly reduced from list by GBP 380 - I ended up paying GBP 1,571 (going at an exchange rate of 7 GBP/UAE) for a Carrera Chrono (non tachy).

I hadn't even asked for a best price when he reduced it.
