Cheers guy's.

Frazer - I used a light tent and a couple of fluorescent desk lamps, took a while to position the lights etc (still learning) and used a tripod.

Very nice pictures. Very nice watches.

I was going to post some piccys of mine up the other day, but to be honest, I just cant get a good, clear, crisp photo of them. How do you do it?
Also use either a macro lens or extension tubes.

These pics were done with either extension tubes on a 50mm lens (the first two), or a 28mm macro (the rest):

Great work Tertius and Woody.

I'm loving Tertius' 891/447 shots with the case back removed. To me,that red crescent really makes your beautiful watch.

Dirk Pitt, the fictional character always wore an orange Doxa - always wondered what they looked like. Nice!

Thanks - the watch is one of the 'Dirk Pitt limited edition' series they bought out for the release of the film Sahara (which IMHO was crap compared to the book....).

Woody - where did you manage to source your Doxas? I'm after a 750T but can't find anywhere that stocks Doxa. I'm in Warwickshire BTW so not a million miles from you!

Cheers

Ordered them direct from Doxa, no retail stores in the UK/Europe at the moment - the one thing to remember though is you'll be hit for the VAT & Import duty (think it was about £170 on my Caribbean GMT).

Also worth checking on Time Factors for sale board for a used one - got my Sharky off there, and plenty of UK/EU sellers - so no VAT/Duty.
