Hi,

I've browsed through piston heads before but just today a friend recommended this forum to get advice for buying a watch.

I have a budget of £500-600 and am looking for something slick and sporty/youthful, not after a classical look.

I've currently got my eyes on a Maurice Lacroix Miros Sport (silver with metal strap):

What do you think? I've seen the black the black one on the Ernest Jones website, but not the silver.

Nice looking watch, and a known 'name' - but at the end of the day, don't buy it for an investment or for any other reason than you liking it.

Thanks. It sells for £550 so I'm not looking at it as an investment. I just like the way it looks.

However, I'm struggling to find somewhere which stocks this model in London. I've tried most places near and around Oxford St (including Selfridges, Ernst & Jones, stores on New and Old Bond street) as well as Harrods. Two places have the watch, but not the silver face with metal strap.

Can anyone suggest a place that stocks it?
