Just interested to hear what PH think is the going rate for the 2 watches mentioned in the title.
Both are boxed and have papers

Newman is not the exotic dial but the 'standard' Newman watch that he actually wears to this day

Explorer - I am interested to hear if the general thought is that it is a better medium term investment bearing in mind the attention the daytona has seen over the past few years in stainless steel format and the premium that it is still running

I was looking at an Explorer last weekend. In London the going rate is about £10k for the very early one (with the earlier bezel) - the rate in the US is about $11-13k (which is what is stopping me sourcing one in the UK).

I'm not so up on procing of the Daytona but the watch places in Burlington Arcade (not David Duggan) each have at least one so a phonecall will tell you the London pricing.
