Hi All, I have obtained a brand new 2007 Green Anniversary Submariner with Date within London, the warranty card is yet to be completed. Does anyone want it for slightly above cost? Please email as you wish. Cheers.

I'd sooner buy one for slightly below cost from one of the dealers. Thanks though.

I think this thread will run for 3 pages. Any takes for 1, 2 or 4+ in the 'PH Green Rolex Sweepstakes'?

Shame Omega wasn't mentioned too, I'd have gone for 78 pages plus.

Someone said they could walk into any jewellers and get over list for one a while back.

People in the street were even offering cash at over list prices. If whoever it was could just remember the street then you're quids in.

Max, I think this will just be a 1 page job. In the P and P this would have been at least 9 though.

Lovely watch. I bought mine at www.watches.co.uk in Chiswick.

They'll buy it.

Damn it.

It's a shame it wasn't an Omega Speedmaster - I would have thought that was much better and more reliable, what with the Nasa tests, and less chavvy. Also Rolex advertised on early James Bond films and aren't very good. That should do the trick wink

O.K. I'm going for four pages. . .

TBH Rolex are NAFF. People only buy them because they think people will recognise how much they cost. All Rolex owners actually prefer Jacob and Co but can't afford them.

I hear the movements aren't really any good and ALL the new models are fugley.

The Sea Dweller is pants and is actually only water resistent to 15ft. Rolex know that nobody will find them out as all the owners just wear them in the bath and imagine they are sexy adventurers or Jacques Cousteau.

The Daytona is a rubbish watch and anyone is mad to pay list let alone over list for it, unless you plan to sell it straight away for more money than you paid for it. Before anyone goes on about how popular they are lets not forget that The Sun is the best selling newspaper and The Spice Girls sold loads of records.

Anyone with a submariner is a homosexual. Especially Vesuvius, L1101101 & Marki (anyone else) wink

You're so right. It's not like Rolex is one of the few indy companies that didn't require scquisition by Swatch like Omega. What was I thinking? Let me go switch to using a sundial instead.

May I suggest this beautiful presentation box to compliment such a desirable new acquisition. The seller deems that is was designed for a Panerai but I am sure it would be a perfect compliment for a 50th Anniversary too. biggrin

I would of had it off you, but one came onto my local dealer last week which i bought for slightly less than RRP biggrin, (at the weekend) so asking for a bit more might narrow your chances as there are a few around (new) at the moment!! good luck though....biggrin

Where's 'Benno'? He'll be along soon to get this thread closed down as its blatant advertising and should be in the classifieds. wink

Not yet, he's still asking for over list prices.
