More of an public information post!
I recently requested an IWC catalogue from their web site. It came the other day, its a small hardback book, with a whole load of interesting stuff in it. Going to take a while to read but i expect well worth it.
It was free which was even better.
Swiss watch catloges are great aren't they? Esp. the IWC one.I recently requested an IWC catalogue from their web site. It came the other day, its a small hardback book, with a whole load of interesting stuff in it. Going to take a while to read but i expect well worth it.

I travel to Switzerland on business fairly often, and I usually pop into the watch shop in Zurich airport on the way home, drool over some watches and leave with another catalogue. Get the Zenith one if you can - although its almost all pictures its actually a BIG hardback book, with some amazing pictures. Shame the new watches are all so flippin' ugly.

I was very suprised when it literally dropped through the door and crashed to the floor. I actually ended up with two catalogues as i requested one a while back that never arrived. I guess they were cutting another rain forrest down for a new run of catalogues. It looks a very good read though.Ive also requested a Panerai catalogue too, lets hope they arent as hard to get hold of as the watches.
too right the IWC catalogue is always stunning, and does not take long to come through the post, so will enjoy it,
one i recently obtained via the website and i highly recommend is the panerai Ferrari watch brochure is fantastic.
anyone recommend any others worth a look?

Would love an AP brochure (won't ever be able to afford one, I'll just have to drool at the pictures), any idea if they are hard to get hold of - there isn't a form to fill in on the website.
If you are in the UK try Time Products of Grovesnor St, London W1. They are the official importer of AP into the UK, the number is 020 7416 4160.....lowdrag said:
Thanks for this link. Where I live the nearest IWC jeweller is 120 miles and after a robbery I was thinking of either getting a Pilot Chrono or Double Chrono so a catalogue will be very helpful. I got an automated reply from their system in an hour too.
I don't know what the catalog photos are like but the web site pictures of the pilot chrono and certainly spitfire chrono do not do the watch justice. The spitfire chrono 3717 05 is especially beautiful in real life.
pilot chrono 3717 01
Big watches though with a 42mm case. The previous model was 38mm.

cheers for this..
..does it include the mk16 pilots watch (i.e. the 'lead in model!)?
i've got one and it'd be great to have the correct brochure. i did all my research on line and never thought to get a hard copy brochure..
Reference IW325501 and IW325504 (Pilot's Watch Mark XVI) feature on page 187. Is one of these the model you have?..does it include the mk16 pilots watch (i.e. the 'lead in model!)?
