Not exactly the high end of the watch market, but I have a soft spot for them as my first 'proper' watch at 15 was a bright yellow animal watch that I still treasure.

Have since had a few more, more classy looking ones, but just wondered if anyone else liked them?

I wish I could find a website with pics of past ranges, but can't seem to find any on a google image search.

Ha! Who'd have thought it, animal watches getting a mention smile
Yeah I suppose I'm a fan of Animal watches, used to absolutely love them as a spotty oik.
Part of the fun for me was the interchangable velcro straps, used to love those and dread to think how many I had.
Tough as old boots too, mine had a very hard life as I suspect most of them did on the wrists of teenagers (fnarrrr).

i am a huge fan of Animal watches thumbup partly because I think my Animal Tide (1st Generation)is fully brilliant and secondly because of their fantastic customer service when it went through the ride-on machine they use to "liven up" the snow at the Snowdome in tamworth (smashed screen (to powder!!) & badly mangled strap). Animal kindly put it back together, got it working again and charged me £14 all inc. oh and put a free keyring in the post with it when they sent it back. smile

As for the Tide, I wear it every day and its great and despite the price has a real quality feel (I have worn Breitlings that somehow felt "cheap" by comparison), I have another one at home in a different colour I managed to get of ebay for spares to sort out my main one if Animal didn't manage to fix the strap too.

Cheers,
Matt.

I have an animal watch sitting in a cupboard at home which I believe to be a W002. It needs a new battery and strap has seen better days.

Send me an email to alexlomas2000@hotmail.com and I will send you a photo if you are interested to see if it is the one you want.

I still have mine and was wearing it daily until recently, very solid watch. "From the 2nd batch in the UK" I was told when I bought it years ago. Yellow faced thing, can't for the life of me remember it's model#
I'll have to check the box - yep still have that as well. Swapped to a leather strap a while back though, the velcro things are ok for teenagers wink
