I was looking for a christening present a few weeks ago for my godson and thought about a retro watch such as Heuer, Omega and Rolex. I enquired about one of these, but nothing happened any further

then this morning a package arrived containg said watch and saying that I had won it on ebay?! I contated the vendor to say that I havent paid for it and have no history of bidding on it but i havent heard back yet.

I have to say though, rather than send it back im tempted to pay him and keep it. Its very cool. But how do I tell if its real? It only has the Omega logo on the winder and the clasp, there is nothing on the casing as per my speedmaster.

How Odd?!

Looks nice. Don't think I've seen one like that before. My 60s Seamster 600 has no marking on the outer case - I'd take the back off and look at the movement and the inside of the back.

I phoned the guy and tried to persuade him that I didnt order it, he convinced me that I did and told me that it was paid for with may account and everything, so there I am totally confused and when I mention it to my wife it turns out she bought it for me as a surprise anniversary present for this week and it was supposed to be posted to her!
