I am not as keen on watches as many on here seem to be but am getting into them bit by bit. I will not spend crazy money on them but would prefer to have more reasonably priced pieces to choose from a collection than one or two Rolls Royce. Anyway, I would just like to take the opportunity to say that I have recently discovered the world that is Breil and what a surprise! Well made, good style and fair price. I have not seen them mentioned on these pages and was curious how they may be perceived by some of the more distinguished stalwart enthusiasts on here.

I have one and I agree, they are far better than their price would suggest. Or maybe a better way of putting it is that they make alot of expensive (£400-£500) high street watches look over priced. I have the split face chrono with the orange ostrich leather strap...

(The strap is a much darker orange in the flesh, and sooooo soft)

They are a sub- division of Seiko by the way, have a look in the back of the manual for the service center list wink

I've got one as my daily work watch, and cant fault it.

I dont care if this one gets scratched to hell.
