So, I get a call to say that my place on the waiting list has come up!!

So I just bought THIS!

50th Anniversary Submariner Date.

As I only paid list price, I think I'll keep it for a year and get my dosh back....

Stupid I know, but it's ACE!

Are the annivarsary ones much more than a normal Sub date ss?

Is the bezel the only difference?

Yeah, it's the 50th Anniversary Submariner. It's got a different face and green bezel.

Rare as rocking horse doo.

List is £3030 but they go for £3650 so I've made a tidy profit already. I can wear it for a year and get all money back.

did you just go to a Rolex jeweller and say you want to put a deposit down on anew one? will all rolex dealers take deposits on new ones?

Bezel and face are different. They're another few hundred quid, but rarer so easy to sell on when the tax bill comes!!!

They normally don't take money, but they have a list. I was very lucky!
