Longines aftermarket strap advice pls
Discussion
Hi
I bought this for a family member for his 16th a few years back. The rubber strap was cut down for his wrist and he has now outgrown it.
Can anyone recommend a strap that would definitely fit and also that will accept the deployment clasp? Also preferably comes in a similar blue colour but not essential. The original Longines one is £250 for just the strap which seems a bit excessive
Thanks very much.

Does it have to be rubber? If you go to your local watchmaker/repair shop they can probably modify a nice leather strap to accept the deployment clasp.
Watch would look killer on a nice NATO strap too

He's a young lad and so leather is probably not the right look for him and it's a diver's watch which he does actually wear whilst diving/snorkeling so rubber would be much better.
Cheers
Try AliExpress they do straps, you should be able to swap the ironmongery over. It won t be as good material but fit should be ok and worth a punt. Or genuine but cheaper https://www.watch.co.uk/longines-hydroconquest-blu...
A genuine bracelet is only a few quid more https://www.watch.co.uk/longines-hydroconquest-sta...
(I have used this company and they are sound)

A quick google suggests the 3rd party market for Longines hydroconquest straps is pretty large. Just a case of finding the correct measurements, and having a suitable tool at hand to move the springbars.
Steel bracelets too.
