I have an INVICTA watch a bit like the one below. It has a rubber strap, and I would prefer to change it to a leather one, but the way that the strap connects is kind of odd; rather that the usual bar clip thingy, the strap continues into the case - see orange ovoid...

Is it possible to get leather straps like this?

Measure the width between the lugs and google for straps with that lug width. I googled "leather strap with reduced lug width" and it came up with a few options that might work. You could try adapting a regular strap using a craft knife.

Yup, craft knife, or if you want to be really fancy a leather notcher or Japanese skiving knife. Depending on your strap, you may need to re-sew the end. Use nylon / polyester topstitch thread. The whole job should take around 1/2 hour.

How wide is the fitting? Perhaps a strap intended for a Tissot PRX or similar might fit?
