I am a stranger in here as I know nothing about fancy watches, and I could do with some advice.

I have/am custodian of a ladies mechanical dress watch made by Bueche Girod which belonged first to my Granny and then my Mum. Bought new in the late 60s/early 70s as an anniversary gift by my Grandad. Now I would like to pass it on to my daughter. It has a small round dial and a very sinuous metal bracelet that looks solid but somehow manages to bend. It is in a complex geometrical pattern that continues across the face of the dial. Small black hands with black roman numerals. The whole thing is gold (real gold although not sure what grade) and looks very chic in a 70s-tastic way.

Thing is it doesn't work, and the bracelet is also slightly bent (my mum wore it more or less every day so it took a bit of a hammering for what is really a special occasion item). I would like to get it fixed before giving to to my daughter, but have no idea where to start. I live in London so no shortage of swanky west end jewellers, but what I am really after is the equivalent of a good indie garage rather than a main dealer. I should also get it valued at the same time as it must be worth a few bob.

Any experience or recommendations gratefully received.

Seems like a wide range of sold prices:

https://www.collectorsquare.com/en/luxprice-index-...

https://www.ebay.co.uk/b/bn_7023489746

https://www.marks4antiques.com/price-guides/Bueche...

If you can identify the model, you should be able to work out likely pricing.
