Wake up wearing the daily that has good lume that I can read in the middle of the night.

Change to my weekend jobs watch to turn out/muck out the horses.

Change again to a smaller watch to go down the gym - its glorious there on Christmas lunchtime nobody about.

Decide to put on something a little more shiny/dressy for Christmas dinner (no guests just my wife/son and myself - lovely).

Change back into the daily.

Its a busy watch day.

Maybe you might have a new watch on Wednesday to add into the mix?

What a nice horological day to change things around.

My old and long favoured Seiko Cocktail Time. In fact I’ve been wearing it a lot lately. Don’t always need something expensive to enjoy it.

Christmas day I probably won't be wearing a watch at all, often I don't when I'm relaxing and the time doesn't matter.

Only thing I asked the Mrs to get me for Christmas was a decent bracelet for my Seiko Alpinist, so I'll probably wear that and prove to her I'm actually making use of the present.

I've got young kids and a massive extended family meet up to attend. I usually wear a Casio or something, since whatever I wear is at a fair risk of getting banged about and covered in beer, gravy, chocolate, vomit, dog slobber etc.

That’s an amazing Rolex collection. Love every one of them.

As for the OP’s question, probably my speedmaster on Christmas Day.

Seeing as it hasn't been off my wrist since July it's got to be my Monaco. Plus it will be handy for additional timing with the Christmas dinner!

Over the past 12 months, I think I have been very fortunate to have been able to acquire these watches:

Pretty sure it'll be the Glashutte on wrist come the 25th.

Reason is that this was a watch I got on my birthday 12 months back, having had a major want for it since it's release 20 years ago. Always puts a smile on my face.

My silk smoking jacket, fez and leather slippers.

My man servant will be escorting the grandfather clock from our place in town to the family pile.

Ah Mr Bodge or is that MC, a fez you say. Clearly you are a son of the dessert then, what tent do you reside in?
