Evening all.

I’m thinking of getting a rubber strap for my Blue Sub.
Can anyone recommend me a brand please.

Also, pictures would be good of your watches with a rubber strap.

Thank you in advance of any replies.

Dave.

This cost me about £15 on aliexpress and it is great. Even the deployment clasp on it feels good.

Obviously won’t be as good quality as the RubberB but might be worth picking one up to see if you like the look/feel of it before spending £200 on the rubberb.

I recently bought a rubber b and haven’t got on well with it. I explained the reasons in anither thread somewhere…but essentially it doesn’t flex like an OysterFlex.

Had an Everest on a GMTii for seven (?) years.

In hot climate, in and out of sea and pools etc.

Still looks the same as when I bought it.

Was £125 back then no idea on prices now.

Better name than ‘Rubber B’!

Everest or Rubber B. Going for a cheap strap on your submariner would be like putting budget rubber on your 911, do so at your peril.

See if The Strap Tailor does anything you like, I think he's a PHer too.

I’d throw Vanguard in the mix. Quality stands up against Rubber B on my Tudors

Strap looks great, but it is deployant, not deployment.
From the French 'boucle déployant' (folding clasp), patented by Cartier, in the early 1900s.

(not a pedantic ass, and not picking on you...just this particular one always bugs me...sorry!)
