I'm thinking of buying my wife a 70's Rolex from her birth year to co-incide with a big birthday. Plenty to choose from on-line but I know little of Rolex's and I'd really like to see one in the metal before I buy. Is there anywhere, ideally in London, that has a good stock of old Rolex's?

Burlington Arcade is a good place to start. Lots of vintage Rolex (with year indicated) across various outlets.

burlington arcade has them, but that shop is massivly overpriced.

Thanks, yes I've seen lots that hit the spot on Chrono24. Burlington Arcade is a good shout and easy for me. Not fussed about the pricing there as I just want to see them. Cheers

I’d try Dom Hackett. Hackett Watches in Hatton Garden.
