Hello,

I'm about to make my first watch purchase, link below in case anyone is interested. Can anyone recommend any companies for watch insurance. Not for damage just incase it gets stolen. I know i could add to my home insurance but dont know if this is the best option.

Thanks in advance for any replies!

Assetsure seems to be well thought of. Though I have no personal experience. Adding it to your house and contents insurance is generally cheaper. Your premium may go up but not as much as an additional insurance. Check your terms and conditions. I would recommend you phone them and get a quote. Or use Gocompare and add the watch as a specified item. It's all a pain in the arse. Good luck.

I add mine to my house insurance as specified items, though they aren't particularly high value - Omega Planet Ocean bought for £1,800 and a Rolex Explorer 2 bought for £2,500.
