I'm currently very smitten by the Stowa Flieger Bronze Vintage 40 Baumuster B, but I have fairly small wrists and am wondering if it's too big? I know that they do some of their watches in 36mm, and I know that's more 'on trend' with current styles, but I'm just not a fan of small watches.

I can generally get away with 40mm quite easily, but everything I own has a bezel of some sort, so the actual dial is smaller. I don't have anything without a bezel, so am wondering if it will look a bit too big.

Does anyone on here have any of the Stowa 40mm watches on a smaller wrist, any pics?

That's a lovely looking watch. Maybe not that helpful but this is a 42mm (Laco) on a bang-on 7" wrist. As always, looks bigger in photos. With this style of watch I think it should look on the bigger side.

I have a 40mm Flieger Klassic and it's a great fit, and I don't have powerfully built wrists.

Go for the 40, they're pretty thin and a 36 (IMHO) wouldn't look right.

A bronze Flieger B looks pretty cool, you won't be disappointed with a Stowa. smile
