watch repair / service channel
Discussion
Apologies to all those who are well aware of this YT channel but I have just found it and its fascinating. If nothing else it shows the work that goes into making a decent mechanical watch and justifies some ( but not all) of the silly prices they cost. If you have never seen it look at https://www.youtube.com/@WristwatchRevival . No doubt there are other channels
Continuing this theme, I have a basic Omega watch that I used for school some 65 years ago - my father had a thing about Omega. This watch has never been serviced or repaired in those years but still runs fine and keeps time.
Very much a plane jane watch but back in those days the upmarket brands used to make basic every day watches
