Apologies to all those who are well aware of this YT channel but I have just found it and its fascinating. If nothing else it shows the work that goes into making a decent mechanical watch and justifies some ( but not all) of the silly prices they cost. Continuing this theme, I have a basic Omega watch that I used for school some 65 years ago - my father had a thing about Omega. This watch has never been serviced or repaired in those years but still runs fine and keeps time.
Very much a plane jane watch but back in those days the upmarket brands used to make basic every day watches

not quite the same - at least the case isnt having rectangular section lugs and a sharp bezel.

Do you service watches professionally? SWMBO has a Roles from 79 that has stopped dead.

Yes I do I'm based in the Jewellery Quarter at https://ajwsl.co.uk
80% of are work is Rolex, plus plus we have genuine Rolex parts
