Afternoon all,

Having vaguely forgotten that I put my name on the waiting list for one of these, in Dec 2022, I have had an email from Helm today. I should get another link in 5 days or so with the option to purchase.

They aren’t very much money, and I thought would be quite a nice addition to add to the watches I already have.

They are quite a chunky beast, and I don’t have powerfully built wrists laugh About a 7 inch circumference. Slight query about whether it will be too large to wear, without looking a bit of a nob smile

Anyone on here own one, and if so, how have you found ownership?

Cheers all,

Barchettaman

I owned the stainless steel version and found it a bit chunky for my tastes but I much prefer a slimline dive watch.

The build quality was pretty impeccable and I didn’t have any problems selling it on (at a small profit!)

I got offered one a couple of times from the lottery and the list. I ended up declining. Just wasn’t that excited by them in the end.

I would like to own a helm, though.

I have both a Vanuatu and Khuraburi in my motley collection of titanium watches.

Neither could be described as a shrinking violet, they are both solid lumps of metal and feel indestructible. They’re quite tall vertically but I’ve not had any issues catching them on things. If I did, I suspect said thing would come off worse!

The Vanuatu is currently on a leather strap and I really like the look. Of the bracelets, I prefer the one the came with the Khuraburi.

Both great watches for me and at a decent price point.

I’m just trying to get a Scurfa now …

My Vanuatu wears well on my 7.25 inch wrist. It's a chunky watch but it's not overly big. Komodo at 40mm is better on smaller wrists but it's quite thick at 15mm. I just got one of the new no date Miyako's and that wears the best out of the 3 Helms I own.

That looks more expensive that its price. I was surprised when I googled it.
