Richard Rigg is a star
Discussion
Following advice on this forum I had an Oris BC3 that was slightly broken and I wanted to sell it.
Not only did Richard repair it he sold it on my behalf and sent me the difference within hours. A more very communicative and helpful chap you could not want for. I am rather busy at the moment dealing with a house move and my Dad having cancer and being end of life. I sent Richard my broken watch, he fixed it and sold it and paid me for it. All in one smooth gentlemen's agreement.
Rare these days. I was quoted elsewhere almost the sale price merely for the repair.
Nice guy, solid work, totally trustworthy. Spread the word.

I would second that.
A while ago now, during covid, I sent this to Rigga for repair- it had been a non-runner for years.
After a few months, and several attempts to sort it including outlay on parts, Rigga returned it with no charge as he said it was only running intermittently.
The only thing was, it was running fine on receipt...and it still does!
Even then, he'd only take part payment on the quote because of the delay getting it done.
A really genuine guy, deserves his reputation.

Thirdded he serviced my seamaster chronograph a year or so ago 😁
Richard Rigg is indeed a star!
Absolutely super service by Rigga Repairs. It was delightful talking to Richard about all the aspects of the watch and possible history of the ‘springy’ Omega strap which he had never seen before.
Richard made good my late father’s Omega sea-master with a new plexiglass, a sympathetic polishing detail on watch and strap and an adjustment to sort out the fast running. He even sent it back in a lovely red Omega case.
The watch is a birthday gift for my wife. She is more than delighted and I am equally delighted the watch will have a new lease of life.
I would highly recommend Rigga Repairs without hesitation.
I subsequently got him to fix and service my beloved Seiko Automatic which had a broken day date cog, and a battery change and case polish on a Omega quartz- again super duper service
