I have one of those with a white dial and it sits on one of the drab green IWC rubbers straps (that you can swap out with their quick change) I like it in a sea of Rolex - they are much better value used.

You're right a great looking watch. Not sure if you know the history of them but IWC was one of a few manufacturers that made watched for the Luftwaffe the pilot chrono is a take on that watch with the addition of the stopwatch. A few other manufactures do similar watches as various price points. I really fancied a Stowa at one point but the waiting list for the one with their own movement stopped me buying.

Yeah, not really interested in any Rolex's.

I like the Green face version.

where's the best place to look for a used version? apart from the obvious as those on chrono etc have been listed for an age.

I bought mine in HK for about 80% of UK list price. Brand new from an AD

Love it - strap gets grubby quickly though

Bought mine (Petit Prince I seem to remember) from WoS. Don’t hold their value well so somewhere like Chrono24 would be the place to go.

Mine has a solid back, think they’ve now moved to a display back? Always nice to be able to see the movement I think.

The green is on my list, nice colour I think.

I have an IWC Aquatimer Chrono which I like very much I bought mine pre owned so it was a big saving over new, the quality is excellent and I do like that it's not as obvious as other brands but that being said it gets noticed a lot more than I ever expected

I wouldn't discount Chrono24 if you want to make a saving.
They second hand and grey market for these is very different to rolex/patek et al so they often sit around for a while despite pretty hefty discounts.

I have an Igenieur which to my eyes is a much nicer looking and better finished watch than most sports Rolex but it's significantly less popular and much cheaper as a result.

the price they're at, with vat added once in the UK, they're more than buying new here. there's some which are listed at the cost of a new one.

Surprised there are only 20 available in the UK and I agree they don't look cheap.

Always worth a call to Dom H - I'm sure he'll be able to sniff out a bargain.

I have one of these on the green canvas strap.

Great watch, but alas something has appeared which means I will be selling it.

2022 model with 8 year extended warranty

RRP is £6,650.

Mine will have a good saving on that price
