I can’t see a thread for this, so thought I’d highlight this new release!

Swatch have got together with Omega (Essentially, themselves!) to create what looks to be a bio-ceramic (plastic-looking) quartz Speedmaster with Swatch/Omega branding. What do you think?

The watches come in a range of colours to match the various planets in our solar system, as well as the Sun and Moon. It’s believed that the pieces can be bought separately, but there is also the option of a collector’s case with all watches present.

I believe the watches are being released on 24th March at midnight, in preparation for purchases on the 26th March. No idea on prices, but people have suggested $220-260 per watch, or around £1600 for the full collection.

What do you guys think?

I just wish they'd pull their fingers out and deliver on the Snoopy 3 before launching any more special editions ranting

I quite like the Pluto version.

I like bits of several of them but not sure they work overall....

Of course they'll sell out in seconds and sell on ebay for well over list.

If they are only circa £200 I might try and grab one...

ETA: They're all here - £207 each

Only available in store - either London or Edinburgh

I'm free on Saturday so I'm taking an early doors trip to London.

You are limited to 2 per person so my preference is definitely a mercury and probably a Neptune as well.

I might pop into London too, although not definite! hehe I'm quite tempted by either the Mars (those Alaska Project sub-dial hands!), Pluto (the colour scheme) or Uranus (for the jokes, but it looks like a great summer watch!).

Not as expensive - or as horrendous - as I was expecting! smile

A Pluto would go nicely with mine. Hmm.

Are they limited edition and will there be a way to get one online? I can’t get to Edinburgh or London any time soon

Omega Speedmaster with a quartz module.

A Moonwatch for £207.

I’m going to try and get one from the Swatch shop in Frankfurt on Saturday morning.

Very keen on a quick return trip into London on Saturday. Has anyone seen anything re potential volumes per store? Would be gutted to have a wasted journey!

Defo going to get one of those. The official website shows that online ordering is not available yet, so hopefully it will be soon.

Was quite tempted to get one myself, the Saturn version looks good but i'm no where near either London or Scotland and not minded to make a special trip for a £200 watch so I guess i'll miss out, no doubt they will be on eBay the same day for around £1000 with flippers chancing it.

No.

All they're doing with the 'only available at these stores' is building demand for launch day.

I might go and have a nose at lunch, since it's half a mile from my office
