We don't seem to have a thread for watches that we just fancy talking about?!

Not something that's incoming, not on your wrist, and not under £200... Just something that takes your fancy.

For example I really like the look of this new Christopher Ward at the moment.. c60 anthropocene.. with a 'frosted' dial.

Think it looks pretty good... Even the CW branding is a little better than it used to be... decent spec and £850

Very interesting dial on that. I like it. Seems a lot of watch for the price.

For me it is this. I want a white dial watch and this offers that plus it is just so different to everything else I have. I think this watch blends dress and sports better than anything else I can think of. I get married in France next year now and it is my aim to have one for my wedding day, it just seems fitting!

That's actually a very nice watch there Dan, and quite the bargain if under £1k

For me I'd sell the complete collection (well maybe lets not be hasty with that sentiment) for this

Pretty much obsessed with this Grand Seiko Heritage SBGA413.

Part of a series that represents the different seasons in Japan, this particular one has a dial that is designed to look like the cherry blossom trees in springtime.

It looks mostly white, but as it catches different light it becomes cherry blossom pink.

Stunning in my opinion, and the Spring Drive movement is a masterpiece that I would like to own at some point.

40mm and £4800.

That dial is just stunning. Is it the snow flake dial in a unique colour or a different dial altogether?

I have never owned a Grand Seiko but always really admired them. Understated as you say, but beautifully made. Perfect really.

(Well, as understated as a cherry blossom pink dial can be biggrin)

Really like the look of these, and everything I read about Monta mentions the quality and finish which is so good for the price.

I may just treat myself to one at some stage:

I like the watch face design but the strap bugs me because it's a copy of an Omega Planet Ocean design, albeit the Omega comes with a deployment clasp as opposed to a buckle fastening

This is the one for me at the moment on this strap too. Haven't managed to buy one yet and on a wait list at a couple of places. I refuse to pay over RRP.

I'm currently tossing it up between the new C60 Tide and the new tissot seastar 2000

https://www.christopherward.com/dive/c60-%23tide/C...

https://www.tissotwatches.com/en-en/catalog/produc...

i really cant decide between the two.

I do like the Santos and have considered buying one. I am just not quite sure about Cartier watches on a chap.
