Yes of course haters will hate.

But I love my Aquaracer. My wife has one too with a pink mother of pearl face.

So, come on, I'm a TAG man and proud!

I really like them, think they are generally very good looking watches! Oh and they are a far more realistic watch to own than the AP, PP , Rolex ...

I have two. First one is a 2000 Series from the mid nineties. My first proper watch and first automatic. I was bought this for my 16th birthday by my parents (second hand) and will never be sold. I don't wear it often as it wears a bit small.

The second was a joint wedding present from myself to me and from my wife. This is a Carrera Calibre 5.

Why would people hate? It's a watch, if it tells the time and looks nice you're sorted.

Absolutely. Good enough for Gordon Murray, too.

Reminds me of one my dad had in the mid 90s which was a different colour scheme but he lost it in the sea in Cornwall.

Whoever found it had a good day that day.

I had my Carrera Chronograph for about 12-13 years if I recall. Photos below are from a few years back when I got a new bespoke strap on it.

I’ve had this F1 Kirium since 2005. It also came with the rubber strap, I usually swap them over during the summer but it looks much better with the metal bracelet. It hasn’t missed a beat, keeps almost perfect time and has only needed two batteries in that time.

I also have a Breitling Emergency, a friend bought it as a gift a number of years back. It’s lying in a drawer somewhere. Enough said.
