Seiko all the way. Apart from being a good quality watch, they have better kudos than say a Seconda or Citizen watch in my opinion

For something simple and elegant, and with good Ronda movements, how about?

and with 40% off at the moment.

Orient do some cracking sub style watches for < £200 in 41mm, 44mm and 46mm sizes

https://www.amazon.co.uk/ORIENT-Automatic-professi...

In fact, for <£150 the 46mm model is very tempting indeed..

This is not going to gain much traction on PH heights.
You can get a very nice lead crystal display holder for £200. The kind that you accidentally leave on display when house guests are due to arrive.

Would be tempted with a smartwatch at this budget: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Huawei-Stainless-Classic-...

2 of my favorite watches are within budget.

This thread needs the SKX007, or SKX009 (pepsi) to be complete:

And my other vote:

The Seiko "Fifty Five Fathoms" SNZH53:

Both well within budget.

Yes, you're right! I keep thinking they're £100 watches because that's how much they go for secondhand. silly

The 50 fathoms one looks great.
