This is going to sound patronising but I promise it isn't, do you know what a "stick dial" GMT is? Well it's one of those, Google it for the ridiculous explanation, the price is abnormally normal for one! This is a misprint - right?

I just looked it up. Are people really paying up to £2k more for a different font where it says "II" after the GMT MASTER or is there more to this?
It's this sort of thing that collectors are driven by.unimportant to the vast majority but even a small rarity is important to completists.

I think people pay more than £2k over, the prices in Europe looked stronger when I lookedThere are few of these types of things, "Flat 4" Subs, "metres first" Subs, "stick dial" with and without a 3186 movement and "rectangle" dial GMTs etc

If you want a laugh, look up 'flat 4 LV submariner' - over the standard version! Dealer near me has a butchered Frankenversion in the window!
I've got one of those - I had no idea - I presume it's the post 2008 non date submariner with the 4 lines of text?? Why so expensive. If I recall they were similar to other versions when new??Just as mad in the world of stamp collecting. Philatelist treasure minor variances in otherwise mundane postage stamps.
I'm just an amateur but have struck gold: One of my 2nd class stamps below is different from all the rest. A powerful loupe would help but if you look very closely, and squint a bit, it is just possible to see the flaw with the naked eye. Can you see what it is?
Hint - it's the 2nd stamp from the right.

Give up? Well it's been printed UPSIDE DOWN. Normally, such errors are spotted by the printer's QC dept and destroyed but this one has slipped through the net and lucky old me has chanced on a find of a lifetime.
If anyone wants to swap this highly collectable item for a white-faced ceramic Daytona (f2f in London) please shout.

You Idiot , if you look at the photo carefull you can see it is upside down, what you have there is one correct stamp and 3 others that have been printed upside down, could be worth way more ! I purchased a Sun newspaper the other day and they had printed every single page upside down, took ages to read it I suspect it may have been an Australian edition printed here by mistake
