Looking for a hand-wound dress watch similar in style and size to a Sekonda 3344
http://www.watchshop.com/mens-sekonda-watch-3344-p...

Rectangular, black dial with texture/guilloche, roman numerals.

Any suggestions?
(excepting JLC Reverso)

What's wrong with a Reverso?

I thought this was hand wound but it’s automatic.

Budget?

And why not a reverso? The one I have on my wrist as I type fulfills all your criteria except the roman numerals...

The Reverso is too long and narrow for my taste, I'd prefer a more even design.
Being a contrary b'stard, the Nomos Tetra is too square.
So somewhere in between.

The Seiko is interesting, but still quartz.

Budget? Harder to quantify, probably not PP Ellipse (much as I like them) territory, but four figures is not out of the question.

Nice find. A little too big, but that in hand-wound movement would be along the right lines.

Cartier have a few different square/rectangular watches in their range, pre-owned they make a great purchase if you're into that kind of style.

Thanks for all the ideas, from all ends of the price spectrum.

* The D&S Areodyn is a lovely watch, and not one I would have found otherwise.
* Cartier, of course, should have thought of that myself.
* The Longines is good, and there's a local-ish dealer.
* The Lang und Heyne Georg looks fabulous, and has a price to match. I would love to find one, but way out of my league.

The L&H Georg is way out of my league too - but it popped up on my Facebook page today. It was new to me so I thought I'd share it. You're right - it is gorgeous.

This thread has made me dig mine out. Not worn it for an age. Nice dial.

I got it a few years ago used for under budget. Not sure where they stand now.

Thanks for the share; I have no problem looking at such workmanship even if I could never imagine a situation where I'd be wearing one. Appreciate the art.

You should wear it, that dial needs to see the light of day (or candlelight at least).

Wish it was a manual movement; I always get range anxiety with an automatic, and much prefer taking ten seconds each morning to wind the crown (like feeding a tamagotchi...)

You can still wind an auto each morning if you want to.

Will wear it for a bit and see how it feels.
