My fairly new Speedie has succumbed to some fairly wide scratches on the face after losing a battle with a bike rack. Any recommendations for a good specialist to polish them out ? I'm assuming Omega dealers will want silly money (haven't had a quote) and having a polish somewhere else won't invalidate the warranty. I'm NE Surrey and would prefer to drop it off somewhere trustworthy local-ish rather than a postal/courier service.

Is that just crystal scratches? If so use polywatch and buff them out, that's the "beauty" of hesalite.

Yup, did consider a DIY job but didn't want to do any more damage. It was a consideration when I picked it as a near-daily knowing it was going to suffer scratches every now & again. These are quite wide though.

Give it a try yourself anyway it doesn't cost you anything (except the cost of polywatch obviously). Any good specialist or Omega will try to buff them out first. And if they are deep enough to warrant glass replacement you'd have to replace it anyway afterwards.
