Nice, strong / hardy quartz watch for a gift
Discussion
All, it's my brother's 30th in December and I'd like to get him a nice quartz watch for it. Nothing massively fancy as it's not really his sort of thing, but the Seiko Kinetic he's had for 15 years, he still wears.
I was thinking of either a Christopher Ward or maybe a Seiko, dress watch style.
Any suggestions welcome.

What's your budget?
I have a lovely CHR Ward watch (which I bought for myself), though if I'd received it as a gift, I'd have been over the moon.
A bonus that makes Christopher Ward watches a nice gift is the rather lovely watch box they come in, and a hand-addressed & signed thank-you letter from Mr. Ward himself. Must admit to finding the letter a really nice touch.

Style in mind - you mention a Dress Seiko, but only that style? Budget?
Tissot make some nice watches for £200-£500 and have the kudos (for some) of being a Swiss 'make' (although most of their watches are probably made in China or somewhere).
CW are decent watches, but creeping up in price (they'd argue quality too) - Some people are a bit sniffy about the brand for their frequent logo changes and sales, but there's little wrong with the basic products (especially if you can find what you want in a sale!
)
Plus, if he doesn't like it, you can send it back for a full refund within 60 days!
CW don't seem to have many dress quartz watches though...
