Does anyone have any of these?

I got the first one delivered of their latest model, and while it's absolutely beautiful, it's needing to go back in for a second time as it's not running right.

The previous model seemed to get a good increase in value a few years later, and I've one eye on it as an investment, but I mainly just like how it oooks, and how it works.

If they deal with the teething problems (which I sort of understand, having what I think is the first one delivered) then it will supposedly run for thirty years without needing to be touched.

Had one for 35yrs and used to run OK. Not been running for several years as I think I need to get a new set of bellows (gas recharge) for it which I have't got arond to ordering.

I do recall it was very temperamental and needed to be on a rock steady platform.

I paid a few hundred for it secondhand with original box etc. You can buy a decent secondhand one now for c£1.5k so I wouldn't consider mine a solid investment but I haven't lost anything.

Thanks. Mine's the Mark Newson one that came out at the start of the year, so cost a bit more. I suppose that I'll see in decades to come if the price ever hits what I paid for it.

Need to get it sent back and looked at now though, as it's jumped from keeping good time to gaining five minutes a day.

I am after a marc newson 568? is that the one you purchased. Did you manage to haggle any discount from your AD or did the fact that it is limited make it a fixed price?

Due to their limited numbers and eye-catching design I also think these would be a good investment.

I have a standard gold Atmos from circa 2006 which is running absolutely fine.
