Personally I love Breitlings, I have a Crosswind (have had it for years) and Navitimer.
I recently looked at the Superocean, lovely watch (a local AD has stopped stocking Breitling and offered me 20% off list, bit only had one left, the "Chairman" of the board around here expressed her opinion I already have far too many watches! Party pooper).
In terms of timekeeping I would say they're OK,I haven't experienced any major loss or gain over the space of a few days / week with mine.
A few guys on this forum seem to be somewhat more expert on Breitling (neilbauer, Don Logan, to name 2 who spring to mind), they probably have more they can add.
Can I ask you: have you bought one, or are you considering buying one?

Hi!
My experience and feelings are - feel of the watches is great quality and time keeping great too, never had any kind of failure or problem over 6 watches and 8 years though others seem to have, my experience is limited to the Avenger range though
Reaction to the brand is mixed, some very enthusiastic but some quite snobby about Breitling
That particular watch, I like the matte beze but not sure about the font of the numbers, I think I've tried one on and it felt great
IF you care at all about depreciation then you may want to consider that, call a used dealer and ask what they'd pay for it but as it's used it probably won't to too horrific, buying new can be bad!
