Squeaking watch strap

My wife recently bought a Tag Heuer Carrera Cara Delevigne watch which has a rubber (I think) strap

Nice enough watch but the strap squeaks a lot where the strap is attached to the casing

Local dealer says it will disappear over time but that might be Bs?

Can anyone recommend something that will stop this?

Silicon spray (Halfords) or silicon grease (RC model shop).
Any place that changes watch batteries should have silicon grease, used to lubricate caseback seals.

50:50 Swarfega and treacle.

Always use WD40 for this then rinse with warm soapy water.

Had this on the new TAG Senna Edition I bought in August.

No more squeaks.
