Hi... can anyone tell me how to tell if a vintage Girard Perregaux is authentic or not?

These are the details on the sale:

1970's
GOLD HANDS
GOLD CROWN MARKED 'GP'
ACRYLIC CRYSTAL
PLAIN BEZEL
GIRARD PERREGAUX 17 JEWELS MANUAL WINDING MOVEMENT

There aren't any markings left on the back case from what i see in the pics.

Please could someone with the knowledge of this help me out?

Thank you kindly...
Sid

Looks ok. You do see some horrors from India with refinished dials but that looks original.

It's a ladies watch Isn't it?

Yep, seems clean.
However, rule 1 of buying collecting 2nd hand watches - never buy anything without a movement picture.
I'm sure your wife / girlfriend / mistress will be thrilled.
