Aged 13, asked for watch for my Birthday, my then stepfather gave me this, which I wore everyday to school (lunchtime playing field football etc and general fooling about, falling off motorbikes, aged 18 joined the forces, wore it thru training, posting detachments etc......

Then I saw one in a antique watch shop, whoops, Now I'm 50+ its a bit more cosseted these days, as well as having a full manufacture service, I only own 1 "nice" watch, but i do think its a good one........

Definitely a good one although i don't think you tried hard enough to break it!

Seriously impressed it stood up to such abuse, my dad has a Patek Phillipe that was his dad's. On the first day my grandad had it he wore it on a building site and took a sizeable chunk of metal out of it! At least it will never be sold i guess.

A memovox for your 13th.....impressive. More impressive that it survived childhood, and then some serious use later on.

There is an iphone app called wake up memovox if you want a digital version of the alarm function
