I'm looking at PAM48 (would be my first panerai, a AP royal oak (not the offshore, SS with black or white dial no ) or a ceramic daytona (white dial)

Will be more likely selling a couple of watches i never wear and px to one of the above

What do you have your eye on for 2017?

This has been growing on me after reading up. The closest I'll ever get to a Daniels. Plus I like the mix of vintage and modern. Leaning towards the black dial/ Steel construction over blue/titanium.

PAM233. Just missed out on one! Hard to find from a secondhand dealer in the UK and whilst I have no issues buying from abroad (as I've done it before) ideally I want to part ex my PAM196 as it's less hassle all round.

If I "get the call" maybe a new Daytona.

Nothing else planned.

My mum passed away just before Christmas and my Wife has suggested that I buy something to remember her by, so I will be getting this with my inheritance:

It is something I will cherish forever.

Firstly ,,, My condolences at what must be a tough time
Secondly ...Although favouring unusual or sports style watches, .... A dress watch is definitely the right choice

Deciding between a SS Submariner Date 11610LN or Speedmaster Professional.

Both ultra iconic watches in their own right, would like to own them both to be honest.

A GMT watch of some sort

If they decide to make one (have only been 'artists impression' pictures so far), then a Tudor Pelagos GMT. Fingers crossed for Baselworld 2017 news...

Failing that, there's a nice Longines Conquest GMT I have my eye on.

Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated. I have a couple of Chrono's so really fancied a dress watch.

Can't go wrong with a submariner - and if you buy right you won't lose much if you need to sell on!

Closest AD to me would not even place me on the list. He said they are getting 2 Daytonas in the whole of 2017

I have a blue dialled Nautilus 5711 arriving in 1st quarter 2017.
I should also have a white dialled SS ceramic Daytona arriving some time in 2017.
Other than these two, no other plans but if something interesting comes along then ........
