Opinions please. Does the rose gold make it look tacky?

I like it but am a fan of rose gold ... the downside for me is the volume of Breitling fakes around

Yes, IMO it's tacky. But if you like it why do you need my opinion? I don't like Rolex (cue flame wars) but if others do then that's up to them.

No. The rubber strap takes care of that.

Nothing wrong with rose gold

Tacky = the 44mm case; though my choice may be biased by 6.25" wrists frown

Which is why there are so many different watches available,
there's seldom a common cause in fashion.
If you like it, go with it. Be you.

Well she arrived today in the post.

I'm a little unsure about the style but what has concerned me more is what looks like tarnish ion the hour hand.

Now I appreciate this is pre-owned (2014, advertised as new and not worn) and the watch still has the paperwork and plastic protection on the lugs.

I've added some photos below (best I could do with my iPhone).

I'm tempted to send it back as this wasn't mentioned in the description. Any opinions would be gladly received. Am I being too petty? I've spent a lot (for me) of money on this and want to be 100% happy.

Many thanks.

Definitely needs something done.
Being that it’s 2014 bought, there should be another 12+ months on the warranty, so you could have it fixed that way.
If it turns out there’s be some sort of moisture ingress, then that further adds to why it’s being rejected or the cost of remedying it being refunded to you.
Best let them know of the issue right away, and see what the response is first, before doing anything off your own bat.

Thank you PJ S.

Just to add, I bought this online via the jeweller so today is the first time I've seen it in real life.

I'm pretty disappointed to be honest. I've packed it pack up and sent an email along with some photos stating that I require a full refund.

Sounds fair. If it was sold as new and unworn, then it isn't. If it IS a warranty repair then the original owner should have sorted it via the retailer/manufacturer. If you buy it and the manufacturer says "sorry, been abused" then you are on your own and a new hour hand will not be a cheap item.
