Help - I dropped my Alpina
Discussion
Hi,
I dropped my Alpina watch on the floor yesterday and part of the counterweight broke. The watch is still working but I need a new counterweight.
You might just be able to see that the bottom semi-circular part of the counterweight has broken off from the rest of it. (It's usually out of sight, but it's just rattling around inside now). Seems an odd thing to break?
It's a great automatic watch with (up to now!) a long "power reserve".
I didn't get it from an Alpina watch dealer, it actually came from the Alpina car dealer (Sytner). Alpina watches did this for Alpina cars to celebrate them winning something or other. My wife bought me it because I've got an Alpina car.
I don't fancy my chances sending it back to Sytner's parts department!
Can anybody point me in the right direction?
Many thanks,
Tim
