Long shot I know, but lost/stolen vintage Tudor Submariner..

As per title, very long shot but I've sometimes been amazed at the power of PH. My Dad passed away last month in Spain where he lived, and somewhere between his house (not lived in for some time but people had keys), nursing homes and hospitals, his Tudor Submariner has dissapeared. It never usually left his wrist and apparently this kind of thing is sadly all too common with vulnerable people (he had Alzheimers) As I can't be 100% sure that anything dodgy has happened, or when, it's very hard to point the finger or get the police to take a look.

I'd very much like it back, purely for sentimental reasons (it was he who got me into watches) and it was the only "thing" we ever spoke about that one day would go to me.

From memory, it's got a black face, snowflake hands, and a cyclops, altough I'm not 110% sure on that. I have the original guarantee card dated 1971 with serial numbers...can't decide yet whether it's a good idea to post those numbers here or not. I have let Rolex know for their lost/stolen database, and had a word with a couple of watch dealers on the Costa Blanca to keep their eyes open.

If anything comes your way for sale that looks like it might be it, do please drop me a PM. Also, it's quite possible that someone may have bought it in good faith, and if that's the case I'd dearly love to buy it back no questions asked at fair market value.

These have rocketed up in price so it stands a chance that it may be advertised/crop up in the international arena. This sort of specific search done every few days may help if it does.
