Rolex Day Date 2 41mm vs 40mm
Discussion
Starting to think about a new watch purchase.
Quite like the Rolex Day Date in rose gold.
Have tried the current Day Date model which is 40mm which I thought was very nice and certainly not too big.
However, I haven't tried the now discontinued 41mm Date Date II.
I was wondering if anyone had tried the 41mm version as well as the 40mm as to how it looked on the wrist in real life, as opposed to images?
This is the style; rose gold metal, chocolate dial,

Great watch, I tried the 41mm but it was huge although I don't have the biggest wrists.
I thought the previous model was 36mm? Which I also tried and suited me far better. Looks so much better in Rose than yellow gold.
Yes, the original was 36mm, then Rolex updated to a 41mm Day Date II. But it sounds like they received a lot of feedback that this was too big for many people. Hence they have recently revised it down to 40mm.I thought the previous model was 36mm? Which I also tried and suited me far better. Looks so much better in Rose than yellow gold.
