But not should I buy one, mine are all original before anyone comes out with anything derogatory. smile

A friend who is not into watches has just asked me to check out an Omega PO for him at what he thought was a very good price. £98.

Now I know, as do most of you guys, that this is obviously not a genuine watch, but my mate was tempted as the site is a blatant rip off of Omega's own, even including their logos and trade mark symbol.

I've had a quick look round, and cannot see anything to state that they're selling copies.

Surely this is illegal? Site here: http://omwatches.uk/ for anyone interested.

I've contacted Omega this morning, I wouldn't usually bother, but when people are being taken in (Yes he's very naive and thought it was a good deal) I feel it needs stopping.

Color Difference:Pictures all goods provided are professional photographers, late carefully modified and color adjustment, as far as possible consistent with the actual goods, but because of the light, display color deviation, the existence of the individual to understand the different factors such as color, will lead to physical and photographs have some off color, the final color will be subject to the actual goods

My post in the other thread which provided a link to a "fake site" was removed by the mods.

Maybe we could determine the authenticity of the watches by whether they remove your post or not. scratchchin

Yep, I'd say that pretty clearly steps over the "bit of fun" line into simple fraud / deception.

Site registered on 26th Feb, by someone claiming to be in the US with a service address in Birmingham, UK.

Multiple sites with similarly illiterate FAQs : https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=%22you+could+cli...

Seems legit.

as ever, if you feel you unsure or have grounds to question it then it's almost certainly fake.
