Anybody able to recommend an online valuation service? I've seen valuemystuff but read mixed things about it. I've got a rose gold Elgin pocket watch from 1903 and some kind of masonic gold chain from the same era that was my great grandads that I wanted to get valued.

To give a proper value, you need the item physically inspected by an expert.

I would recommend using the Assay Office Safeguard valuation service.

Their experts are excellent in my experience. They photograph the item and write a detailed summary of the item.

The cost of the valuation is fixed and doesn't change depending upon the value they give.
