My Ebel needs a new battery and this company charges less than others, but I'm nervous of posting my watch to a company that I don't know, with only a mobile telephone number published on their website rather than a landline.

www.tcawatchrepairs.com

Has anybody used them?

Thanks in advance.

It's a Sport Wave Classic, and the battery needs to come out through the front so most watch places won't touch it and/or don't have the tools.

You have a great reputation on here, so please PM me if you would like to do this.

Yep, that's the usual Ebel way. At least they don't do what some have over the years (yes, I'm talking to YOU, Gucci....) and require you to blow the glass out with compressed air to get inside biggrin

Not a problem to do and you should have mail if PH is playing again. If not, email to watchmaker1 (at) hotmail (dot) com will reach me.

Do you have to blow the glass out on an original Omega Dynamic Joe?

No, you can remove the Dynamic crystals with a crystal lift (or original Omega removal tool) that grips the edge to pull it out.
