Hi All,

Ive had an Omega Seamster Chrono for some years, the bracelet now is a bit too shiny for my taste and I would enjoy a black leather one with a clasp, anyone done this and can recommend?

Would like an original clasp design like the bracelet if possible.
Supplying jeweller is not able to help, claiming the rounded shape at the interface end of the strap stops any available leather straps??

I don't mind there being a gap there if needs be but do want a quality strap and clasp.

Thanks,

Mike.

I think your dealer is talking nonsense. My watch (Bremont) has curved spring bars and I have no trouble getting suitable straps.
Suggest you check out GasGasBones and Toshi. I can recommend both.

Ive swapped the straps on my seamaster and Aqua Terra for leather versions.

It's really straightforward, just need the correct size strap, tool and spring bars

Yup it can be done, there is a tiny gap after the strap smile

Try http://www.steveostraps.com/ he made the one in the pictures, it is 5 years old and still going strong, but looking a bit worn now! If you don't like what is on the site at the moment, no problem as he will make to order!
