Citizen 8110 Value Climbing
Discussion
As per the title, I stumbled across the Citizen 8110 movement about a year ago and became quite smitten with them being an automatic flyback chrono with day (in two languages!) & date. At the time a mint one was going for around £65 on eBay. I shoved the though to the back of my mind seeing as I had enough watches and thought no more about it.
Starting a new job with a little bit of cash I thought I would re-visit the 8110. Now to find that nice ones seem to be going for >£125 and some for >£200!! Anyone have any clues as to why there is suddenly a 100% jump in price in the space of a year?

I guess they've just got popular - £65 sounds very cheap, especially considering what a similar Seiko will sell for.
Prices of Citizens often trail Seikos (for no explicable reason, really, perhaps parts are easier to find for Seikos?), but when a Seiko starts to climb in price, similar Citizens often follow (at least from what I've seen).
The bullheads might be getting more popular because of the recent Omega release(s).
